Wii Sports is an amazing game that comes standard with the Nintendo Wii consul. Many times when a game comes with a system it's believed that the game is only to be treated as a demo, or trial game to give the player an idea about what to expect from their new system and Wii Sports does that, but so much more. The game contains five sport oriented games, each using the Nintendo Wii's most noticeable feature, the Wii Remote, to it's greatest extent. All the games move fluently and are easy to play for children and adults of all ages.

Wii Sports contain five major sports games including Baseball, Tennis, Bowling, Boxing and Golf. All the games featured are compatible and are used with the Wii's Mii channel, actually putting your created characters into the sports arena. For instance in Baseball if you have nine Mii's created all nine will play the field for your team when you're pitching, and they will also bat in that order. You're partner in Tennis may also be one of the many Mii's you have created.

Each game is unique in it's own way and will appeal to a variety of players. Tennis incorporates a mixture of speed and agility on the players part, while Baseball requires strength and timing, and bowling needs balance concentration and thought. All the games play almost like the real sports that they imitate.

Bowling requires the player to put their arm back and then fluently bring it up just like you were throwing a real bowling ball, and the way you move your wrist will determine if the ball has a curve on it or not, and you can even determine how much curve the ball has by how much you twist your wrist. Tennis will also have a lot to do with your movements as far as determining whether or not your using a backhand or forehand strike.
