2007 NBA Mock Draft Second Round Picks 41-45

It is now time for picks 41-45. Many teams are now picking for the second, third and even fourth times, making it very hard to know if they will even keep their picks this late in the draft. The picks are:

41. Minnesota Timberwolves

The Timberwolves will be looking for the best available player and I think that they will select Trey Johnson out of Jackson State. Johnson is a very big shooting guard at 6'6" and he has a pretty decent skill set. Johnson did not play the best talent at Jackson State and will need work to be NBA ready.

42. Portland Trailblazers

The Portland Trailblazers will select Marcus Williams, a small forward from Arizona. Williams would have improved his draft stock if he had stayed in school but will now find himself fighting to get on an NBA roster with the Trailblazers. Williams could be good in the NBA but history is against him. Recent Arizona shooters to declare early have not done very well.

43. New Orleans Hornets

The Hornets will select Jared Dudley, a small forward out of Boston College with the 43^rd pick. This is a good pick because Dudley, the ACC player of the year, is a solid player. To get Dudley at pick 43 will be a steal for New Orleans and they could really use him. Great rebounder and a guy who can find the basket, Dudley will fit in well.

44. Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic will select Renaldas Seibutis out of Lithuania. Seibutis is a 6'6" shooting guard with a soft touch. He needs some work and will probably remain in Europe for another season or two.

45. Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers could look at Fresno State product Dominic McGuire. McGuire has good size for a small forward at 6'9" and could be an asset to the Clippers. He will need some work and may end up in the NBDL for a few seasons, but he could be a productive player for the Clippers.
