3 Reasons Why You Should Not Go on a Blind Date
1. You DO NOT know who you are dealing with
Sylvia Cochran's idea that if you are getting set up by a mutual friend you should get as much information from your friend as possible about your blind date seems logical. However, even if you are able to learn all of the "facts" about this person, you still have no real idea of what kind of personality you are dealing with. For example, you may be going on a date with a guy who has a great job, has never been married, and seems to be extremely handsome judging by his facebook pictures. This does not mean that when you meet him he won't be a complete lunatic who only enjoys talking about his previous fifteen girlfriends and his fetish for very young women... My advice: if your close friend/family member thinks so much about this guy/girl why don't all three of you hang out! After all, this will take a good bit of the pressure off you as you won't have to make conversation with a complete stranger. Also, you will get a chance to see if you may be interested in this guy/girl without even having to go on an official "date."
