Household Uses for Listerine #1-Surface Disinfectant and Deodorizer
To use Listerine as a surface disinfectant and deodorizer, mix a half and half solution of Listerine and water into a spray bottle. This Listerine and water mixture is ideal to use in many situations such as when someone accidentally vomits on a table, on the counter, or on the floor. Spray the solution onto the surface to kill the germs. Let the solution stand on the surface for one minute, then clean the surface as normal. This mixture can also be used to disinfect shared surfaces such as toilet seats, water fountains, and the washing machine at your local laundromat.

Most sore throats clear up in a week or earlier anyway. If yours is lasting longer than 4 or more days, you should probably visit your doctor.

I have had trouble with red, scaly, itchy, irritating round blotches on my face. Out of desparation, I tried dabbed some Listerine on cotton rounds and apply to my face in the morning and at night before retiring for the night. At times I will also apply when my face feels oily. In one day I noticed relief. In one week's time the red blotches started to minimize. It's been about a month and all the symptoms have not reappeared. Try, you may never know-- it may work for anyone who has this particular problem.
