Regardless of what has been reported, People Magazine along with Stone's rep, Dave Woolf have set the record straight and denied any closeness between the two saying that when the Prince and Stone talk, they simply "talk about what songs she is going to sing at the concert."

The calls between the two have been translated into stories about the two being close.

Woolf has also said that during the concert in memorial to the late Princess Diana, Stone will be performing her song "You Had Me" along with a cover of Queen's "Under Pressure" and a Tina Turner song that Princess Diana had been fond of.

Stone was only about ten years old when Princess Diana died in a fatal automobile accident. However, the tastes of the late Princess Diana has been relayed to her via Prince William.

Woolf also told People Magazine that the singer is excited and anxious to be involved in such an event and such that would also have meant something to the late Princess.

Both of the princes, William and Harry have been taking quite a huge part in organizing of the event which also includes them speaking to the acts who are taking part in the memorial celebration for their late mother.

Prince William was in the headlines not that long ago in regards to his break-up with long-term girlfriend Kate.
