Kelp: A Natural Food Beneficial for Obesity and Your Thyroid Gland
Excellent Source for Nutrition
Kelp is known as a sea weed that is found along the coasts and inlets of the North Atlantic and Pacific Oceans along with other parts of the world. The Kelp plant does not have a true root, leaf or stem instead it attaches itself onto rocks, mussels or banks by the means of a series of tendrils. TheThe kelp plant has a high content of iodine in it that provide ample supply of iodine to the human body. That is what makes the kelp plant a valuable plant to ingest for obesity. The kelp plant has the ability to normalize the thyroid gland to help aid in the loss of weight.
Kelp is also good for the arteries. It is believed that the kelp can help to cleanse the deposits from the walls of arteries and restore the elasticity of the artery walls. Kelp could help us all keep our arteries clean. It is also good for the heart since kelp is high in manganese and manganese is important for heart health.
Kelp plants have silicon in them and it is said that the silicon in the kelp plant can keep skin from wrinkling and sagging. Silicon is also important for healthy hair. The silicon is food for the hair roots and an ample supply of silicon in kelp will help prevent the loss of hair. Your fingernails also benefit from the wonders of kelp. Not only does kelp have silicon in it but also calcium, and sulphur which are important for healthy nails.
The kelp plant is full of iron and copper. Red corpuscles are essential for our blood to absorb oxygen from the lungs. If we don't have enough iron or copper in our blood then our blood can not get enough oxygen from our lungs. Kelp can help our corpuscles get the oxygen it needs by adding iron and copper to our body. If you add kelp to your diet you are adding a good source of iron and copper so you can help avoid having anemia.
Kelp is a food that can give our body a lot of nutrition. For years I have heard about the benefits of good health by adding kelp to your diet. Kelp is not exactly an appealing thought. Who wants to think they are eating seaweed? But it is so very good for humans we may all want to consider adding it to our diets.
