When we think of using Dial soap, we think of bathing and showering. Bars of Dial soap have lots of other handy uses around the house. Some handy ways to use Dial Soap around the house include everything from painting, preventing foot odor, preventing deer from eating your garden, and treating constipation.

Handy Household Uses for Dial soap #1-keeping your garden intact
Sometimes deer and other animals love to sneak in your garden and eat your flowers and vegetables. To prevent deer from eating your precious flowers and vegetables, drill a hole in a few bars of soap and randomly hang them around your garden. The deer will mistake the scent of soap for human scent, and will stay away from the garden. This can be a bit of a hindrance when deer hunting season opens.

Handy Household Uses for Dial Soap #2-Home remedy for constipation
You can use soap to treat constipation in two different ways. You can cut the bar of soap into small sticks and insert it into the rectum as a suppository. Use this method as you would any laxative suppository. You can also place a bar of soap in a glass of water and create a soapsuds solution to administer as an enema. Use this method as you would use a standard disposable enema, In fact, you can even keep an old disposable Fleet enema bottle and use it to administer the homemade soapsuds enema. The soapsuds solution produces great relief from most degrees of constipation

Handy Household Uses for Dial soap #3-Prepare walls before painting
If your walls have thumbtack holes or nail holes, thoroughly rub bar soap into the holes until they are filled. Smooth the soap over the hole and let it sit for about ten minutes before painting the wall. The hole will be covered and won't show through the paint.
