Pete Doherty and Kate Moss Plan to Tie the Knot This Summer

People Magazine reported this morning that Kate Moss and her troubled, drug addicted rocker boyfriend, Pete Doherty, will tie the knot sometime this summer but only if Doherty can kick his drug addictions to heroin and cocaine.

Doherty who is twenty-eight years old recorded his thoughts during a London hospital stay for detox purposes back in January. His thoughts which were published and titled as The Books of Albion were also excerpted amongst the Britain's The Times in which he wrote,

"I now surrender to the science of detoxification. Once more in my love's loving arms. We have been close this time that passed and with the smack and needle free we shall marry in the summer and I become ten times happier than any given smackhead. Huzzah!"

Also amongst his writings, Doherty shares of his demons in regards to his drug addictions which involved popping approximately ten valiums a day and spraying the apartment which he resides with "indecipherable poetry written in his blood while in drug-induced stupors."

Doherty which is the rocker frontman of the band Babyshambles has prioritized his addictions which leaves his favorite addiction to be his beau, Moss who is thirty-three.

The two started their romance in January of 2005.

In his writings, Pete describes Moss in a 2005 entry as "My she is restless, endless energy, spirit, shaking her hips & shoulders to rock and roll in leather zip trousers & stripey T-shirt & one heel what a picture."

September of 2005, Britain's Daily Mirror published stills of Moss which alleged that she was snorting drugs. Within days following the allegations, Moss checked into rehab while Doherty continued to become the poster-boy for drug addiction along with many troubles dealing with the law which were all drug related.

Doherty stated in October to the media that he planned to tie the knot with Moss "soon," but time passed and come January he was back in rehab at Moss's request.
