A repetitive stereotype that I battle with on a daily basis is; Christians are Hypocrites.

You know what; SOME Christians are Hypocrites, but not all. Many people misunderstand the concept of being a Christian such as claiming to believe in God, but the Devil believes in God too. A Christian has a daily relationship with Christ through prayer. It may appear that a Christian is a hypocrite if they have fallen from the Lord, meaning that they are not living their daily life as the Lord would have it. Many Christians who are considered to be Hypocrites, do not even know, they are not following God's path.

Other people do not see how a person can be a Christian and be hateful at the same time. For example how could a Christian church turn away the underprivileged, the needy, the addicted, the criminals and many more. Now you tell me, does it make sense to say you are a follower of Christ, and then say I hate African Americans, Women, Criminals and the Poor. Is that rational? No it is not, a TRUE FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST DOES NOT TURN AWAY ANYONE FOR ANY REASON! Jesus loved everyone, therefore we as followers of Christ must love everyone. Stereotyping ruins people and their culture. We were all made by the same Creator, God who loves everyone. To love everyone, is to accept everyone for who they are. If a person walked up to you and said I want to come to church with you, what would you say? What if that person was an alcoholic, a drug addict, abused, a person in a gang or living in poverty? Would you now allow them to come to your church? If the answer is no, then I suppose you would be a hypocrite yourself. The Lord says do not turn away anyone, even a gang member can come to know the Lord. The Lord says do not turn away anyone, even a gang member can come to know the Lord. Jesus accepts us for who we are. Have you ever heard the phrase "COME JUST AS YOU ARE TO WORSHIP" ? Therefore we as Christian are not to turn others away, if we do we are hypocrites.

I will tell you a personal story, which helped me to understand more about hypocritical Christians, and how easy it is to become one.
