I've tried everything to get my dingy smile pearly white including just about every whitening tray, whitening strip, and brush-on tooth whitener on the market.. I hadn't had a great deal of success with any of them. Why? Partially because you have to use these products repeatedly for at least a two week period to see results. I guess I'm not the most disciplined person when it comes to prolonged tooth whitening regimens. I wanted instant gratification in the form of a whitening toothpaste that really worked. A toothpaste sounded so much easier to use than the other teeth whitening alternatives!

That's why I was pleased to find Arm and Hammer Advance Whitening toothpaste at my local drugstore. According to the instructions, brushing with this toothpaste for two minutes a day will lighten and brighten your smile. Two minutes a day! I can handle that! After all, I have to brush my teeth anyway. Plus, I trust the Arm and Hammer Name since it's been around for so many years.

After a planned visit to my local Walgreen's drugstore for bathroom supplies, I bought a tube of Arm and Hammer Advance Whitening toothpaste and headed home to give it a try. My teeth have always been rather dull in appearance, plus I drink coffee and tea on a regular basis which doesn't make the situation any brighter (no pun intended. According to the literature, Arm and Hammer Advance Whitening toothpaste has both peroxide and baking soda to clean and brighten your smile. From my research, both are top ingredients for tooth whitening.

After opening the brightly colored yellow and red tube with the familiar logo, I dutifully brushed my unpearly whites for the full two minutes. I was surprised by the fresh, minty taste which was as refreshing as other toothpastes known for their good flavors. After rinsing, I carefully inspected my teeth. Was it my imagination or were my teeth just a bit brighter?

I wonder what the consequences are for those of us with sensitive teeth? Hmm, this needs further investigation from me :-)
