How Nicole Kidman Celebrated Her 40th Birthday

People Magazine revealed that a lovely gift was extended to Nicole Kidman as the actress and wife to Keith Urban celebrated becoming over the hill. She is now at the 40 year old age mark.

The gift was from no one other than Urban himself who has currently been touring the United States performing for his fans on his Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour. For Nicole's birthday, Urban flew in to celebrate with her as she's also been busy with work, filming Baz Luhrmann's Australia Down Under.

From the United States to Sydney, Urban arrived Tuesday morning before getting onto a private ket that took him to Bowen which is described as a "beach town on Queensland's Whitsunday Coast."

Sources told People Magazine that Kidman is currently filming the new film project with Hugh Jackman.

On Kidman's birthday which in all actuality was on Wednesday, the lovebirds watched a surprise fireworks display specially let off for Kidman from a mountaintop lookout in Bowen. The two also traveled to nearby Horseshoe Bay, so said another source.

Keith Urban who is 39 years old is scheduled to resume his tour back in the states next week.

Kidman also recieved for her big day by director Luhrmann, who also directed a former project of hers, Moulin Rouge planned quite the celebratory birthday bash for her that included caterers flown in from the States.

Before being the beautiful wife of country singer Keith Urban, Nicole was married to Tom Cruise. She has starred in numerous film projects which includes the above mentioned as well as the likes of The Hours, Bewitched, The Stepford Wives and more.
