Hip-Hop has a stylistic trend of flashiness that appeals to teenagers who pledge allegiance to the popular culture. College and high-school students perceive it as a sort of party music. Beyond it's initial implications of "having a good time - all the time", supporters of Hip-Hop lean toward an adjuration of poetry to youth under the age of 18.

Hip-Hop transcends basic fads and unlike other genres it can crossover into other forms of music. It can be mixed with rock, country, reggae and many others.

Hip Hop is a way people can express themselves without needing or spending a lot of money. Hip-Hop is very popular worldwide because of its ability to dispel stories. Hip Hop songs have more words than most other genres and that makes it easier to get a point across and influence others. Hip-Hop can be manipulated into many different combinations of musical types. A Hip-Hop track can be fused with rap or no rap at all. Mostly, it's about the "beat" and "vibe" of the track.
