Sex Study Released by US Government

A new sexual study has been released by the National Center for Health Statistics, which is a branch of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This study has found that men are more likely to have a larger number of sexual partners than women.

According to the study, which used high-tech methods to get candid answers on sexual activity and drug use between 1999 and 2002, 29% of American men said that they have had more than 15 sexual partners; while on 9% of women reported the same. Also, the average number of sexual partners

The data was gathered from 6,237 adults between the ages of 20 and 59 in what are being called "computer assisted self-interviews. In previous studies interviews were conducted in face-to-face situations, which the NCHS has said contributed to flawed data.
