This flirty pink damask wrapped candle is a perfectly sassy, and very easy to create! Keep for use in your own home, or give as a gift to the diva in your life. This project is easy to create for even the most beginning crafter, and should only take less than an hour to put together.

For this craft, you will need:

- A large, pink or black colored pillar candle

- Yes® Glue, or any glue that will adhere and dry clear

- Several sheets of Anna Griffin Dorothy Rose Damask paper (available at scrapbook stores or online)

- Solid paper, bright pink in color

- Cardstock, black in color

- 1/16" hole punch

- Scrap booking cord, black or pink

- Watermark ink

- Hot pink embossing powder

- Heat embossing tool

- A large letter rubber stamp, for the monogram

- Silver glitter (optional)

- Spray glue (optional - if using glitter)

Start by measuring and cutting the patterned paper in a wide strip big enough to fit around the candle with a half inch overlap. Cut a slightly thinner piece of pink paper, and tear the edges. (See tip below on how to create torn edges.)

Using the paintbrush, apply watermark ink to the edges of the torn paper. Sprinkle a light coating of hot pinki embossing powder to the ink, shake off excess and set carefully with the heat tool. (Be careful when you are heating the edges of the paper not to sear the paper.) Adhere the torn paper to the patterned paper with the Yes Glue. Adhere the wrap to the candle using glue.

Using watermark ink, stamp the monogram onto a square of pink paper. Coat with hot pink embossing powder, shake off excess, and set with the heat tool. Tear the paper into a square shape, with the monogram in the center of the square. Apply watermark ink with the paintbrush to the torn edges, sprinkle on the embossing powder, and heat set.

Mat the torn paper square with slightly larger cut square of black cardstock and glue on. Add glitter as desired over the monogram, using a thin layer of spray glue. Punch holes in the corners of the square, and tie to the candle using scrap booking cord.
