A recent study confirmed that 9 out of ten employees prefer to work in the outdoors, according to an article published in PC World, Workers with mobile capability have started to take their work to the sea, into gardens, to the beach, terraces, and other different and interesing sites.

About half of the study subjects said that, compared to five years ago, they work longer hours now, when working outside. 27.8% of the respondents are expecting that their working hours will increase in the next five years.

In the article from PC World, it was stated that 73% of people considered that a deciding factor when making a career choice was the capability to work in a flexible manner. 52% share the belief that working remotely would be beneficial to them in the sense that they would enjoy a less stressful life.

It was shown in several studies made before hand by System Concepts -an ergonomic specialist company-, that employees tend to be happier if they have a choice about their working environment. Productivity is also a key role. According to PC World, Tom Stewart, a consultant of the above mentioned company, he said that the workers are surely more productive if they can have the flexibility. This sort of empowerment has been confirmed to be great for the improvement of employee-boss relationships, while raising the worker's morale. It is a very favorable situation.
