Pork loin makes a wonderful roast, but it also makes great fried pork chops. There are several ways to serve pork loin, which means there are also several ways to serve up the leftovers. For example, leftover pork loin roast may be turned into sandwiches or even barbeque. Fried pork chops are wonderful on the top of salad. The possibilities are endless and how you serve your leftovers all depends on how you prepare your pork loin the first night. Here are just a few of the great ways to use leftover pork loin.

Creative Uses for Leftover Pork Loin #1: Barbeque

A pork loin roast can be used to make barbeque. The next day, remove the excess fat from the roast and cut the meat into small pieces. Heat the pork loin in the microwave until hot. Once the roast is heated, use just enough of your favorite barbeque sauce to coat the meat. Serve with potato salad and baked beans. This is such as chance from last night's supper, you'll never know that you're eating leftovers.

Creative Uses for Leftover Pork Loin #2: Pita Sandwiches

One of my favorite ways to use leftover pork loin chops is to add them to a sandwich. I use pita bread and stuff it full of romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, pieces of pork loin chops, and ranch dressing. This is a great lunch that can be enjoyed on the go or even at work.

Creative Uses for Leftover Pork Loin #3: Pizza

Leftover pork loin even makes a great pizza. All you need to make this pizza is leftover pieces of roast, barbeque sauce, shredded pepper jack cheese, and a pre-made pizza crust. Spread the barbeque sauce on the pizza crust and then top with the cheese and roast. Bake according to the package directions and enjoy.

These are great ideas, especially if the loin comes out a little tough. The BBQ sauce can make it moister and tastier. Great article AMy!

LOL I didn't know there was such a thing as leftover pork loin, with my kids there isn't! I went out to dinner with my sister and her family last week at a Chinese restaurant and we had pork loin cut into thin strips with some dipping sauce as an appetizer...now that was really good (and my 3 year old loved not having to use his fork)

I'm not real creative with pork as it's not my favorite (except ham, tenderloins and ribs). But my roomie buys it all the time and makes the same-o dishes. Good article.
