Since ancient times, in the lashing jungles of Amazon native people of lost tribes wait for the dark moon to start their journey hoping to find a flower with a beautiful name--- ArtysoNymphaea. They believed that scarlet-red flower could be found among white innocent lilies, when dark moon sheds its only diamond ray on the banks of hidden waterfalls and slow-moving streams, reviling a flower of pure beauty with red, sparkling petals.

The mysterious legend of this flower is closely entwined with the story of European Explorer Francisco Orellana, who was the first to discover Amazon River in 15 century A.C. Francisco Orellana commanded the expedition in search of El Dorado and arrived at the junction of Coca River to explore the surrounding territory of the dangerous jungles. After many days he joined sparkling waters of the mighty river which later was named Amazon.

Expedition discovered many villages and found a lot of gold but suffered from the lack of food and the attacks of natives. After many months of straggling, as they approached the ocean, Orellana ordered to build a brigantine, and soon the expedition was ready to return to Spain. They left dangerous lands of Amazon but without Orellana. For some unexplained reason he refused to return to Europe and vanished never to be seen again.

Upon arrival explorers went immediately to the Spanish king to give an account of their discoveries, and soon the story was published in Madrid. But the mysterious disappearance of Orellano remained the main question, and many people told that the real story of what had happened to Orellano was kept by expedition as a secret for unknown reasons, and soon turned into a legend.....
