1. Compare Blogs – See who is making money and what they write about. See how many reads you are getting per topic. Stick with what is popular. I have found it best to experiment with many topics. You'd be suprised at what gets read! 

2. Proper title - Be sure to properly title your blog. Make it catchy but to the point. If a reader has no clue what you wrote about they may not want to take the time to figure it out. People love to read about gossip, scandal, drugs, sex - anything taboo. Make your blog fun. Asking a question as a title is a great thing to do as well. People love to give their opinion. It is a way of "inviting" someone to comment.

3. Check your information – Is your spelling correct? A very common mistake is improper spelling. It is nearly impossible to find a blog if your letters are inverted. For example, if your title is “EASY WAYS TO MKE MONEY". At first glance you may not have realized you had left out a letter. When using a search engine you need correct spelling.

4. Ask for opinions. Find a reader who is making money and ask for tips. Ask them to review what you have written and give you feedback. Corrective criticism is a good thing!

5. Keep what you write to the point. Long, drawn out blogs are dull and boring. People who make money generally suggest keeping it to under 400 words. I often run over this limit!

6. Blog often - try to blog once a day. You will build up a fan base of people who read what you write.

7. Get listed through other search engines. I mentioned a company in another blog - technorati.com., blogtopsites.com and so on.

8. Don't expect to make a hundred dollars the first day...or the first week for that matter. It takes time...really! Money will come but you must be patient. Some bloggers claim to make as much as $1,000 a month. Even these writters say that it took a while. Remember, bloggerparty is a fairly new site as well. Even though you may not be making $ right now you are gaining readership and that will pay off in the future!
