Most stay at home moms love to watch all of the daytime talk shows. One of the most popular daytime talk shows is the View on abc. The View is live every Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 12:00pm. The View host and co hosts are Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar, and Barbara Walters. The View covers a vast amount of topics, and their audience is one of the most difficult to get into. One way you can try to get audience tickets to the View is by visiting their website at www.theview.com, and clicking on the get tickets link. They also give you the option of submitting your information via a postcard to: The View, 320 West 66th Street, New York, NY, 10023. If you are going to send a postcard you need to make sure you include your name, address, and a daytime phone number.

There are also a few more things you need to know when attempting to get tickets. First you will not get any electronic reply once you submit your ticket request. They will usually just send them through the mail. Tickets are sent out at least three weeks in advance. You should also know that it will take you longer than one or two month to get tickets. According to their website it takes at least one year before you can get tickets. Once you get a ticket you have to be at the studio by 9:30am prompt. What usually happens is they give out more tickets than they have seats for and they they seat people on a first come, first serve basis.

Another thing that many people do not realize is that you can not bring your children to the show. They will not allow anyone under the age of sixteen into their studio. Unlike some of the other daytime talk shows they do have a standby policy. If you are looking for tickets on the day of the show, you can see on of the View Audience Associates, between the hours of 8:30am and 10:00am at the audience entrance. But this does not guarantee you entry into the studio. You will still have to stand on line and hope that you will be able to get in, before they reach their limit. So it is definitely possible to become a member of the audience on the view. It does however, take a lot of patience and work.

Takeaways
  • They will not allow anyone under the age of sixteen into their studio.
  • You will still have to stand online and hope that you will be able to get in.
  • They usually give out more tickets than they have seats for.

to all the ladies on the view, I love you all and you are great together.Whoopie, I have been a fan forever,Ghost, and both Sister Act movies I have seen at least 100 times. And I think you are one of the smartist women on tv. Barbara, I have admired you for the work you have done, I wanted to be you when I grew up, but it wasn't to be. When I was asked to be on 20/20 I was excited that I might get to meet you, but you were on vacation. Chris Cuomo, I'm sorry if I spelled his last name wrong, but he did a great job of interviewing us. He has a way of making you feel at ease. But again I'm sorry that we missed you. I hope to read your book soon.Keep up the good work. We love you. If you ever want someone to interview or fill in for on you on the view I would love to. it would be an honor to sit in the same chair as Barbara Walters. Thank you ,Pat sylvester

This is a message for Elizabeth H. First you must me educated before claiming to be a TV personality, please improve your self esteem if you are claiming to be an American you don't reliaze that you say many stupid things and you seem very schizophrenic, maybe you are. you are very ugly and a lousy person especially when you speak like a total HICK? get the picture because I have stocks on this show.

This is in regards to the statements made by RWood. Did you read what you wrote? Whoopie regardless of the color of your skin you are an amazing person with a good heart. If blacks are prejudice, where do you think they picked it up from?

I loved the view when Rosie was there. She is honest, caring and knowledgeable and she stood up to Elisabeth.Everyone has a right to their opinion however Elisabeth acts as if her opinion is the only one that matters.

I don`t always agree with Elizebeth but she should get to say her view....She gets interupted more than anyone,by all three unless Barbara is there. Three to one is always uneven and unfair..your getting way too political. it has gone way beyond your view.

The only pain is Joy - once she starts with her stupidity I shut the show off - this is America and yes we have freedom of speech but she is a disgrace to all americans - we are going thru tough times and we need to band together I'd love to see her leave. Any time there is intelligent conversation going on she interrupts with Bush bashing - when it is least appropriate. Whoopi is intelligent - a great mediator and level person, Elizabeth is so knowledgeable she is like a walking computer so full of up to the second information a real joy to see a young woman so informed, Sherri is a pleasant addiion not tough skinned or mean spirited a pleasure yet learning the ropes dealing with menipulating Joy - on the other hand Barbara is no longer a welcomed participant - she has no control and is rude to the kinder of her co-hosts.

I do not understand why it is the women didn't just say 'oral sex' on the Tuesday 04/16/08 show. why go through gyrations and "Lewinski" comments to get the point across? Sherry looked ridiculous moving her head and body back and forth and Joy won't leave Monica alone. Whoopi asked why they didn't just say "bl0wjob" and got bleeped out. Have we all lost our minds? Just say 'performed oral sex' and be done with it! I agree that Elisabeth needs to find something else to do. She is way too close-minded for a show of this nature and consistantly runs over everyone else with her opinions. I am extremely happy to see Whoopi on the show, she adds quite a bit. I do not miss Rosie at all.

I try to watch the show everyday but........after about 10 minutes of Elisabeth talking over everyone. I have to change the channel and take a nerve pill. I wish she would SHUT UP and let someone else get a word in. Joy ,Sherry, Barbra if your ever going to be in Ohio let me know I'll put on the coffee and make some cinn. rolls.

Through the week I record all The Views shows as I'm an 8 hour a day worker.. Last week being the week of March 10 - 14/08 - one of the shows had discussions on Gardasil HPV vaccine. I think the ladies need to be more informed on the severities of some side affects at the present. In our little County of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada we have one Naturopathic Doctor by the name of Dr. Inga Nomm whom has a weekly inspirational column in the local newpaper, The LighthouseLog. I have saved the clipping and would love to Fax it to you so you can have some insight to what this vaccine is doing to children at the present. The sight is not so pretty, but of course we only hear about 10% of the reactions ever known. God help us if any negative remarks are imposed against our drug companies. Really , Americans have been so brainwashed into believing that chemically laiden drugs or symthetic supplements are good for us. It's all for the money not for the good of our people . If you wou

Has anyone gone to a taping for The View more then once during a year? The tickets say you will be turned away...is this true?

Joy is the only one left on the View that is worth listening to...Elizabeth is a young girl that thinks she knows everything and is so closed minded... anyone who can't listen to other opinions and respect where they are coming from shouldn't be on national TV. giving their biased opinions...I like Whoopi, but she doesn't cut it on this show, neither does that other black loud mouth...and as for Barbara Walters,,,well! as far as I'm concerned she's had her day and is way over due for retirement...If she would just one time give her personal opinion on a subject I would probably fall off the couch...What is she afraid of????? Anyway, Joy is the only one left with any sense and I hope the show gets cancelled soon...Sorry, but I told you when Rosy was coming on what would happen, and it has...Joy, I loved you when you sat in for Larry King...that's your next gig...Norma La Bean

I agree Elisabeth is like a mouthy brat-no opinions matter except hers she is brash and bullylike-she needs to get more life experience before she mouths off like she does. Whoopi and Joy , Barbara, and Sherri have a better picture of what life has to deal you -not everything is picture perfect and Little Blondie needs to know that.
