Yahoo! Answers is an Excellent Resource

Yahoo! has recently launched a new service called Yahoo! Answers. The premise of this new service is that users can visit the site, and browse for or post their own questions, and the community answers them. They post what they feel the answer to the question is, and they can link
to the website where they found that answer. If you spend some time answering questions on this site, you can post answers and include a link to your articles to generate more pageviews.

Some questions are closed for answers. This means that someone has been chosen as the "best" answer, either by the asker, or by the community. After a best answer has been chosen, no more answers are allowed.

If you find a question that does not have a best answer, you can post your own. The trick is to find questions that relate to the topics of your articles, answer the question in a quick and concise manner, and then point a link to your article as a source. People who are interested in learning more about the subject can follow that link, and hopefully get you pageviews.

Getting chosen as a best answer is not particularly difficult. In many instances, all the person is looking for is a fact. For instance, one question which I answered was "what is the name of a baby swan?" (the answer is a cygnet). Unfortunately, I haven't written any articles about swans to link to, but I was chosen as the best answer within 10 minutes of answering the question. If you browse the "latest" questions section, you can find a lot of these quick answer topics.

To find topics that relate to your articles, use the search function. To cut down to only the topics which you can post for, use the advanced search function and select "undecided questions." This means that the question hasn't been answered yet, or the best answer hasn't been chosen. When searching in this manner, keep the search term very broad so that you can get plenty of questions which you may be able to answer.
