How to grow grass is a subject of interest to many people. Growing grass seems to be as popular a topic today as it has ever been. The buzz of success and sense of accomplishment can be exhilarating. You can grow grass even if you have little or no experience. Follow some basic rules of agriculture and you are on your way to growing great grass.

Everybody likes grass. We even like just the smell of grass. You can be walking down the street and catch a whiff of that sweet grass smell floating in the air. You know what I am saying. It brings a smile to your face.

As much as people like grass, you might be surprised at the number of people who do not know how to grow their own grass. You would think they would want to grow their own and enjoy that much more. Well, let me do my best and see if I can help out here with some buds of knowledge I have picked up along the way.

Seasonality and growing conditions are important. As an example, in the northern regions you will encounter extreme difficulties trying grow grass or any crop planted under three feet of snow. Please do not be discouraged. That moisture will come in handy when the snow melts. You may not feel like waiting for the spring thaw. Continued research studies show that the southern climate is best when you want to get an early start on growing grass.

An added benefit in learning to grow grass is you are outside, getting some fresh air and catching some rays. With the right conditions and a little expertise, you can be experiencing some impressive grass sooner than you may think. Good grass is something you and your friends can enjoy all summer long.

It is a little competitive in my neighborhood. Bragging rights come with being first, so you had better get busy on growing your grass. Getting started is easy. You want to work the ground a little with a sturdy garden rake. What you are doing is preparing the soil, loosening up clumps of dirt, removing any stones or debris, and maybe finding some buried treasure.
