Evite: Online Party Invitations and RSVP Website

Time and Money Saving Website That's Also Easy to Use

When planning a party, the host or hostess has many jobs. The first and most important is to decide who will be invited and then send out invitations to all invited guests. While this sounds easy enough, there are still many time consuming tasks involved: go to store, pick out cards,
come home, hand write each invitation, address each envelope, go to the post office, pay for postage. Gas and postage prices alone tell me this is no longer the way to go about inviting guests to a party. There is now a much easier and cost effective way to invite your guests.

With the world's affection (or addiction whichever way you look at it), for the Internet it seems the only logical way to go about sending invitations. The website Evite has made this a very simple task.

When you go to the website, you can click on Log In and the first time you will need to register. It is a very quick process and it's free also. Fill out the registration form and click register. Every time you visit the site following the first time you will only be required to log in, which consists of typing in your e-mail and password only.

Evite offers four major services indicated by the colored tabs at the top of the home page: on-line invitations, party planning ideas & tools, e-cards, and a gift center.

The invitations section is where you would go to create and send out invitations for any type of party. There are three steps to create the invitations. First, you need to choose your design. They offer hundreds of on-line invitation designs such as Birthday, 4th of July, Candle Hosting parties, Housewarming, Bridal Shower Invitations and many, many more. Second, you will enter the details of the party such as event title, theme, location, time, etc. You may also choose to include registry and hotel info. Step Three is to add guests and send. You can add guests e-mail addresses manually or import from most major e-mail providers. There is also a section to send a note to your guests to provide them with more information or encourage them to come. In addition, you can set up an e-mail reminder for your party which will be automatically sent out to the guests who are attending.
