South Park Attacks Oprah

59
Let me preface this by saying that I am a huge South Park fan. I find their humor socially funny most of the time, and, at the very least (if they miss their mark) I can laugh at the poop and fart jokes. Recently, however, they have come under more fire than ever with the airing of their tenth season. So far this year they have taken on Isaac Hayes, the entire church of Scientology, the Mohammed cartoon scandal, Catholics, 1st amedment rights and now Oprah Winfrey. NOTE: They might have spurred the most controversy on the Wednesday before Easter when they showed Jesus pooping on President Bush's head (I realize that just sounds stupid and completely unnecessary, but believe me, it worked in the context of the episode). This most recent episode was a strange one, and not because of the three main reasons why it SHOULD have been strange. These reasons are...

1. All of the main characters were not in it (ie; the pottymouth kids)
2. It didn't take place in South Park (I can only recall this happening once before in 100+ episodes)
and
3. It featured a talking towel who likes to get high (this isn't actually weird at all because the Towelie character is awesome and has been featured before)

No, it was strange for another reason. [WARNING: In the next paragraph or so I am just going to describe what happened in the episode. Stop reading if you are A) an easily offended person B) a member of the Oprah Book Club or C) an ardent fan of Geraldo Rivera.]
