Anyone who knows me knows two things. I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and I'm very creative. This means I'm always coming up with new ideas for my favorite kinds of candy. If you also love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, you may want to try the following ideas in your kitchen as well.Creative Uses for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups #1: Brownies
You can find miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in the baking section, these work extremely well in brownies. Just stir them into your brownie batter and bake. When done, top with a peanut butter cream cheese frosting and Reese's Pieces.
Creative Uses for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups #2: Cheesecake
Another fun use for miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups is cheesecake. Just drop the candy onto the batter before baking. I highly suggest using a chocolate cookie crust for this cheesecake and you may also want to drizzle hot fudge over the cake before serving.
Creative Uses for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups #3: Trifles
Trifles are not only easy to make, but they are also delicious. The first thing you need to do is bake a chocolate cake mix. Once the cake is cool, cut it into small cubes. Place a layer of cake in the bottom of a large bowl, and then add a layer of chocolate pudding and a layer of whipped topping. Then top with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. You can either use regular sized Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that you have chopped up or you can use miniature cups. Repeat the layers until you fill your bowl, ending with whipped topping and more candy.
Creative Uses for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups #4: Frosting
You can also use Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in your frosting. All you have to do is add small pieces of candy to your favorite flavor of frosting. You can then use the frosting on cakes, cookies, or even brownies.
Creative Uses for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups #5: Milkshakes
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are even good in milkshakes. Just drop a few pieces of candy into a blender and chop until the pieces are very fine. Then add a splash of milk and a couple scoops of softened vanilla ice cream. Blend until well combined and enjoy.
