Beauty for a Cause- New Beauty Products that Support Breast Cancer Groups
October is a great month for buying the beauty products you already need, while supporting a great cause. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, several cosmetic companies partner with charitable and research organizations to raise funds to support
the groups and their cause through the sale of specially designed beauty products.
This year, several new beauty products are available to help support breast cancer. Here are some of my favorite products for all your beauty needs.
For Lips
Estee Lauder is donating a portion of its sales from High Gloss in Pink Ribbon Pink to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The pink gloss is a semi-sheer gloss with a little bit of shine that flatters all skin tones.
From Sephora is DuWop Pink Shimmer Lip Venom, a light clear gloss in a cute pink tube. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Cosmetic Executive Women's Cancer and Careers.
If you prefer lipstick, try Face Atelier's Rhapsody in Pink. There is more than one tube of lipstick to choose from, with a shade available to flatter different skin tones. Proceeds from the pink collection of hydrating lipsticks go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Palettes
Dior has a beautiful Couture Palette in Beaming Pink that benefit's the American Cancer Society. The silver palette with a pink top and two brushes, is for face and lips.
Estee Lauder created a special gold jeweled compact and brush set in Bronze Goddess. The top of the compact has a pink stones set in the shape of a ribbon. Like the lip gloss, a portion of the proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Smashbox, available at Sephora, is donating proceeds from the sale of its Blushing Pink Fusion Soft Lights set to the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund. The palettes includes hues ranging from pale pink to a glowing pink to a very light bronze.
