Vivica Fox Accused Calling a Cop a Racist

The Associated Press announced today that 42-year-old actress Vivica Fox called a patrol officer a "racist white cop" when she was arrested for swerving and doing speeds of 80 MPH. Fox failed the sobriety tests after she was pulled over in her Cadillac on the Hollywood Freeway.According to the officer, Fox had watery, red eyes and there was a strong odor coming from her vehicle. She was arrested for driving under the influence According to a report "Fox began to walk away, yelling at my partner, 'Brother, help a sister, are you going to let this racist white cop do this. ... Well, are you?'".
Fox was taken to the Van Nuys jail. While being put into the car, she continued to speak in a "condescending manner", reports show. Once in the jail, a breath test was stopped Fox "burped quite loudly". Fran Clader (a patrol spokeswoman) stated that "The report stands on its own, and we can't comment further because it's a case pending before the courts."
While backstage at the Daytime Emmy Awards, Fox stated that "It was an unfortunate judgment that I am taking full responsibility in," She also stated that it was a "mistake". Also, that she would "hire a driver next time."
According to the reports her blood-alcohol level was greater then .8%. Back in March she was also arrested with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence. Fox's arraignment is set for July 19. She faces six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
