Down with the Baconator!!
The Wendy's fast food franchise recently made the decision to revamp their number four(4) value meal. The artery-collapsing, stomach-crippling replacement was none other than the soon to be infamous, Baconator. While the name is seductive, the actual meal is anything but euphorically
pleasing. That is, unless one gets off on a stomach that feels like it's set to implode and a glob of finely aged grease. For any fast food enthusiast this is surely a travesty. While I wouldn't consider myself a fast food enthusiast, I do have certain FF preferences. One of those preferences happens to be Wendy's and its Big Bacon Classic meal. But thanks to this horrid addition, I can no longer spout, "Number 4, no onions or tomatoes," into the order box. In fact, ordering the BBC has turned into an ordeal far worse than rush hour traffic.
Many of the Wendy's clerks have started to deny the existence of the BBC altogether, which is certainly not the case. It appears that Wendy's is not just stripping the BBC of its number four menu position, but trying to remove it entirely. And for what? Another bacon-stuffed, grease ridden, multi-pattied burger that McDonalds and Burger King add to their menu on a regular basis? For a franchise that recently earned top ranking in freshness, quality, and healthiest selection in the fast food world, Wendy's sure seems hell bent on doing a complete 180, clogging arteries and intensifying acne nationwide. Since we as a nation have made it clear that we are not ready to handle the big issues, it is only proper to start small. Let us boycott the vile Baconator until the Big Bacon Classic is restored to the number four slot on the menu board. Just as Wendy's most recent commercial, which depicts a horde of people kicking trees, eventually stopping to chant "HOT JUICY BURGERS!" the Baconator decision makes absolutely no sense. Viva la Big Bacon Classic!
