Criss Angel's Divorce Battle

According to People Magazine Criss Angel, the star of A&E's Mindfreak is being sued by his extranged wife for divorce after she alleged that the illusionist hasn't shared with her any of his earnings which is estimated somewhere within the millions. She has also alleged that Angel had an affair with actress Cameron Diaz.

Angel's estranged wife, Joanne Sarantakos of Long Island, New York is sueing the illusionist whom she was married to for five years of mental cruelty and abandonment.

Sarantakos's attorney Dominic Barbara was reported as telling the Nassau County court that they were indeed naming Cameron Diaz as Angel's "lover" and that Diaz will in fact be subpoenaed as soon as she returned to New York.

So why haven't many Angel fans known of this wife that he had been with for five years? Sarantako's attorney stated to the court that Angel had kept their matrimony and relationship a secret just to further his career.

Elliot Weiner, Angel's attorney denied all of the allegations that are being brought against the illusionist adding that "the notion that she's not being supported is simply not accurate."

Rumors have remained as to romantic involvement between the illusionist and actress, Cameron Diaz. In May alone, the pair was seen out and about together in Las Vegas, Nevada on numerous occasions. Sources told People Magazine that the two were "snuggling with eachother and he was making her laugh."

It also doesn't put the notion of romantic involvement between the two to rest when Angel himself told the magazine, "Cam is an amazing person. I'm so honored to be able to call her my friend."

Angel who's real name is Christopher Sarantankos is thirty-nine years old and currently resides as well as performs in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Reportedly, Angel has had a fifteen year relationship with his estranged wife who is thirty-seven years old. At the court hearing Angel was described as straying away from his typical stage dressings and makeup and even tried to calm the raging waters between him and his estranged by touching his wife's shoulder and even attempting to shake her father's hand but the family rebuffed his efforts.
