Check out Bowie, Maryland's Six Flags America 4th of July Celebration

Six Flags America, located in Bowie,MD, will be having a July 4th celebration. The celebration of course will include a fireworks display. In addition to this celebration the park is celebrating with a discount for tickets purchased on-line. The park will be open all day, and after dark will have Jazz music along with a fireworks display according to their Calendar of events on their official website. According to the website the park's attractions will be open on July 4th from 10:30 am until 9:00 pm, with their Hurricane Water Park opening that day at 11 am and closing at 9 pm. These are special extended hours from their normal closing times of 7:00 for Hurricane Water Park and 8:00 for Six Flags itself during summer weekdays.

To add to the celebration, six flags has announced a special promotion on their On-line ticket sales website in which if you purchase your tickets to the park on-line for the 4th you can get one free ticket if you purchase three tickets at the regular general admission price of $39.99 each. This offer is only good for tickets purchased on-line, and they special actually runs for five days including July 2nd through the 6th. The fireworks display along with the jazz music is free for all guests attending the park with a general admission ticket.

This can be an all day event for the family, as Six Flags America has plenty of entertainment options for the entire family. The park has a large collection of thrill rides including 8 "thrill ride roller coasters". If you have younger children that will be celebrating they will not be left out of the fun. Six Flags America also has an assortment of children's activities in their "Looney Tunes Move Town" area which includes at least 11 activities for the younger children in your group to enjoy. There is also the Hurricane Water Park which the entire family can enjoy with their general admission ticket to Six Flags America if water fun is something your family enjoys.
