Game Over for Pac-Man?

I watched NFL Network this morning, and listened as Deion Sanders defended Adam Pac Man Jones. I agree with Deion, everyone does make mistakes, and Pac Man is a young man who still has time to learn and mature. While Jones is as human and prone to mistakes as the rest of us, he has been given a rare opportunity.Pac Man Jones is lucky enough to get paid (very well) to play the game he loves. So, when I see his name associated with another incident after his suspension, I question his desire and love for the game.
The punishment handed down by Commissioner Goodel, should have prompted Jones to do whatever it took to stay out of trouble. Isn't the game worth forgoing the strip clubs, night clubs, and casinos, at least for the time being? But, is it fair to tell an adult they shouldn't go out and enjoy themselves? When it comes to Jones I say yes, the Titans have the right to ask him to eliminate the partying while he's a member of their team. While some players are capable of going out without incident it seems trouble, right or wrong finds Jones.
The Titans invested the 6th pick in the 2005 draft on Jones. He was the first cornerback taken and the Titans envisioned him becoming a pro-bowl cornerback. Now, the team is left with a substantial void on defense. How can a team run effectively when their best players aren't on the field?
I hope Jones gets his legal issues resolved. If he is truly committed to playing football, I hope he is able to return to the field one day. As far as the Titans, I would completely understand from a team standpoint the release of Pac Man Jones.
It's not fair to the other players to have to endure the constant distractions of Jones. It's also difficult for a team to prepare when it's uncertain about the availability of one of the starters on the team. The Titans need to move on and find a cornerback they can depend on, a player who puts the team's needs ahead of his need to have fun.
