Poker has taken everyone by surprise. Everyone and their mothers is playing. Five years ago the World Series of Poker averaged about 1000 entrants, now they are getting anywhere from 5000 to 9000 entrants. It truly is crazy where all of these people are coming from, and to think they are coughing up 12.5 k to do it. Is it the fame of being on TV? Is it that you think you are that good to make it all the way or at least to the money? It could be a lot of things, but suckers out there that have the money and don’t know what to do with it are joining the poker world, and I am here to explain what it is like in the poker world. Poker isn’t just your weekend home game anymore. It has grown to a length that actors and actresses are playing. Just earlier I was telling one of my friends. You go into a casino and you see celebrity after celebrity walking around. It really never used to be like this, because poker has taken this nation by storm. Although poker may not be for everyone, the people that never even thought about the game are starting to play as well. Poker is televised all over the place so it is hard to miss it. Of course you have to interest in gambling your hard earned cash in order to participate in many poker tournaments and games, but ninety percent of our population gambles one way or another, it is just by nature. The fun part about poker is that you can joke around with the people around you, and win money. Even if you lose you still had a good time, so it all works out in the long run. With some of these huge buy in tournaments, people that place in the money could make enough money to last them years on end. Normal people average maybe 50,000.00 a year. Poker players can make quadruple that if not more in six hours then most people can make in three years. It is truly unbelievable what poker has become. I know I enjoy it a lot. Online Poker is another money maker. You don’t just see an online poker room here and there anymore, now you see them all over. Professional Poker Players are now creating there own poker rooms and it is just getting bigger and better. Some poker rooms average about 50,000 people a day or night. Originally Porno sites were the number one hit target on the web. Not anymore since poker knocked on the door. Online Poker Room owners alone make hundreds of thousands of dollars a day just in rakes. Supply and Demand is the biggest task for these Online Poker Room owners but 99.9% of them come out on top. That .1 % either didn’t have the tools to do it, or they just didn’t spend the money or time to work on it, it is that simple. I play online poker all of the time and it is very addicting. When I am not writing I am probably playing poker or something. I am sure most of you reading this play poker too. Many more people also play Online Poker because the age limit for most of them is 18+, as in a Casino it is 21+. Whatever the case may be Poker is everywhere and you just cannot get away from it.
