Lynne Spears Remains Hopeful that Her Problems with Britney Will Be Worked Out

People Magazine has reported that just a mere three days after Lynne Spears was handed a rather shocking document from her popstar daughter, Britney Spears, Lynne is hoping that the two can salvage their relationship and get through their problems.

While out shopping in Kentwood, Louisiana where she resides when her sixteen year old daughter Jamie Lynn isn't filming for her Nickoleodeon series Zoey 101, Lynn told People Magazine that everything between her and Britney was going to be "fine."

"I've got a strong family, and everything is going to be fine."

Lynne Spears was seen sunday in Louisiana picking up groceries at a local store. She also said that she felt hopeful her famous daughter Britney would make an appearance at their family cookout to celebrate fourth of July festivities in their hometown.

While Lynne was contemplating and hopeful on making nice with her daughter, Britney was in Los Angeles, California where she spent her entire weekend going out to club Les Deux with her female friends where the popstar was said to appear subdued, chatting the night away and dancing to music.

On Sunday, Britney was caught outside Sushi House Unico in Bel Air, California by reporters where she had reportedly dined alone on coffee and edamame. All Britney had to speak on about her mother was that she was "praying for her right now" and hoped that she would be able to "get all the help she needs."

It is currently unknown as to whether the mother and daughter will ever overcome the obstacles that will mend their broken relationship. However, Britney told reporters that "in time, who knows what will happen?"

The popstar also insinuated that it would be unlikely she would attend the Kentwood, Louisiana holiday festivities with her family saying that she "didn't know" and that she liked where she was currently.

This continues from the ordeal between mother and daughter that had happened a few days prior on Thursday when Britney was photographed by paparazzi handing her mother a document that TMZ.com reported to be a request from an out of state attorney.
