Why I Love Eli Manning More Than Peyton Manning
There is no denying that Peyton can throw. In fact, the entire Indianapolis Colts offense is passing with barely any rushing game what so ever. But Eli, not only can pass like his brother, but he will also play the running game that the Giants are so good at. He uses all the players on his offense not just his receivers.
Even though the Giants lost the game to the Colts on 9/10/06, Eli had a better quarterback ranking than Peyton with an 88.7 compared to Peyton's 78.9.
Eli plays in one of the toughest cities, New York. The fans and media will eat you alive and Eli handles it with such poise.
He is a student of the game. Eli makes mistakes and learns from them, analyzing every pass of every game he has ever played before every season just to make himself better at his craft.
Eli is able to change the tone of the game with just one play, he makes things happen when it counts especially at the end of the game when the Giants need to rally to come back. You believe in Eli.
Eli is more athletic and actually has a stronger arm than Peyton, where as Peyton has the accuracy and better decision making.
Eli is just as good in his third year as Peyton was in his. I know that if Eli is this good now, think of him 5 years from now with the experience that his brother has. He may be even better then Peyton, now imagine that.
(And he plays for the New York Giants)
Thats why I love Eli.
