It's true that celebrating the Fourth of July is genuinely regarded as being a family affair. However, known for "breaking the rules" and following their own definitions of proper protocol, Twisted Taco is catering to the single professional crowd that wants to blow off some steam and start celebrating the nation's independence a day early.

On Tuesday, July 3rd, Twisted Taco will be hosting its Pre-4th of July Bash.

Located in the heart of Atlanta's midtown section of turn-of-the-century-homes turned hang-out spots, it won't be hard to find the hole-in-the-wall that offers a whole-lotta-lotta to its patrons-without the pretension or the pricey.

The party starts at 8:00 p.m. on July 3rd, running until 2:30 a.m. Patrons will wear their patriotism on their red, white or blue sleeves and belly up to Twisted Taco's 30 foot, old saloon style bar for drink specials that are sure to satisfy one's whetted whistle. With $4 margaritas, $3 Bud and Bud Light Drafts, this grown-up party will likely be a greater success than last year's legendary gathering, where what happened there, well, had to stay there.

To balance the responsible drinking, Twisted Taco will be offering its delicious "Fresh Mex" fare-Southwestern and Mexican combinations prepared with quality ingredients that are heavy on flavor but light on the wallet. When in Rome, eat a Taco! The "twisted" versions sold here, like the blackened or fried tilapia, jerk-spiced chicken, lamb/beef gyro meat and crab cake turn conventional tacos on their heads, and range from $1.95 - $2.50. In addition to the chicken wings, nachos, quesadillas and burritos served here, it's easy being green with a Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid taco salad that boasts a crisp iceberg lettuce base to the familiar taco "fixins" of tomato, onion, avocado, peppers, black olives, jack cheese, sour cream, salsa and ground beef-all for a mere $7.50.
