Guild Wars: Guide to Runes

In the wildly popular MMORG Guild Wars, runes are the armor upgrades that you can get from salvaging or from buying them from the NPCs. Each piece of armor can be crafted with one rune, making a total of five runes you can have useable per character. You can only use runes that are specific to your primary class or for general population. In Guild Wars runes do not stack either, only the highest rune of that class will count.

Guild Wars currently have a set amount of runes available to the players. This may expand when the new Guild Wars, called Factions, comes out. Factions is a stand alone that can pair up with the current Guild Wars, called Prophecies. In Guild Wars Prophecies there are minor, major, and superior runes available for a set amount of skills.
