Of course there has to be a time when you're running low on cash and you still want your toes to look cute and clean. Using these simple techniques that involve simple products you can make your toes look a lot nicer without spending much money on an expensive pedicure. The products used in this pedicure procedure are all common household items that still will provide you with an effective pedicure.

The first step in this process is to remove any nail polish that may be on your hands. This can simply be done by taking cotton balls and applying nail polish remover to your nails and rub until your nails return to their original color. To assure that your new coat of nail polish looks great, be certain that you got all of your old nail polish off; you wouldn't want old nail polish to tarnish the new coat of color.

Next step is to simply shape your nails with an emery board or any other type of nail file. An emery board will simply file down your nails so that they are smooth. It will also allow you to easily shape your nails into a uniform manner. After this you need to preform another simple yet important step, trimming down your toe nails. Remember that when trimming your nails you need to take some caution; you don't want to trim them too short. Some people also have hard nails which may need sharper nail clippers, or a visit to a professional nail salon.

After your nails are trimmed soak your feet in a bath of water or milk for around ten to fifteen minutes. This will soften and relax your skin and nails making them ready to be pampered. This step is also quite relaxing and may feel excellent if your feet are sore from a hard days work. Once your feet have soaked and dried off, push back your cuticles on your toes. You cuticle is the soft skin at the bottom of your finger nail, it smooths out the transition from fingernail to skin. You can use your fingernail for this step, but its much easier to preform with a Cuticle Remover. To make sure the skin on your feet stays in good condition it is also a good idea at this time to apply a rich and deep moisturizer.
