Cameron Diaz Denies Allegations of Causing Criss Angel Breakup

According to People Magazine actress Cameron Diaz denies any and all allegations that place her as a factor of Criss Angel's broken marriage.

Diaz who has been seen with Angel on more than one occasion by the media while out and about claims her innocence as Criss Angel's extranged wife, Joanne Sarantakos of Long Island, New York says otherwise alleging that her soon to be ex-husband and Diaz had an affair.

Brad Cafarelli, Diaz's rep told the magazine in a statement that, "When Cameron met Criss Angel in May of this year, he had been separated from his wife for over a year and she had already filed a petition to divorce him in 2006. Cameron and Criss went on only four dates over a month ago and have no current relationship."

As in the original report of the problems surfacing for the illusionist and his estranged wife, Joanne Sarantakos is accusing Angel which whom she was married to for five years of mental cruelty and abandonment while also adding that he had an affair with Diaz.

Sarantakos' attorney, Dominic Barbara was reported as telling the Nassau County court on Friday that they were in fact naming Cameron Diaz as Angel's lover.

Barbara also stated that when Diaz comes back to New York for any reason, she will recieve a subpoena to appear in court along with the estranged couple who faced off in the court room over the entire ordeal.

Cafarelli added in his statement that the allegations were false in saying that, "These are meaningless, attention-seeking attempts to unfairly and unnecessarily exploit Cameron's celebrity by trying to involve her in matters she has nothing to do with."

Angel who's thirty-nine years old and who's real name is Christopher Sarantankos is most known for his A&E series Mindfreak.

Back in May, both Diaz and Angel were repeatedly seen together in Las Vegas.
