Gardeners all over the country enjoy planting annuals in their garden. Annual plants are those that grow for just one year and die after the first frost or when cold weather hits. The following annual plants have lovely pink flowers that will bring beauty to any garden.

Pink Flowering Annual - Snapdragon

Snapdragons are pretty annuals that come in a variety of colors including yellow, orange, white, and pink. They have stalks of bright flowers atop bushy green plants. They come in dwarf varieties that are six inches tall, to large types that are up to four feet tall.

Pink Flowering Annual - Wax Begonia

The wax begonia is the begonia variety that is an annual. There are also tuberous begonias that come from bulbs. Wax begonias live up to their name in that they have waxy green, purple, or brown leaves. They have masses of pretty flowers in pinks tones, red, or white. These annual flowers do well in sun or partial shade.

Dianthus is also grown as a tender perennial or biannual, but is usually used as an annual. It is also called Pink, or Sweet William. This pink flowering annual plant has short, bushy plants of long green leaves. They are topped by masses of frilly bunches of pink and white flowers.

This is perhaps one of the most popular of all garden annuals. Impatiens grow rapidly in sun or shade and bloom from spring to late fall. They come in many varieties, but the most popular annual colors are pale to vibrant pink.
