There are a very large number of people who suffer from very short tempers as well as many different and various levels of anger issues.

Anger is an intense feeling that can be used by a person to emotionally or physically hurt people, as well as themselves. Anger is a serious problem at home, on the job as well as in public places. Anger can be an unpredictable and very powerful emotion that can rather quickly become an intense fury. The anger can get so intense because your heart rate and your blood pressure rise very quickly.

When you feel a sudden rush of anger within you, it is because your hormones are producing large amounts of adrenaline. As soon as you start getting a negative feeling your body starts pumping adrenaline and you can become very unpredictable, unstable and even out of control. You may do things that you later do not remember. You could hurt or even kill someone or yourself.

Some people report "seeing red" when they get angry. This is not just a label or a figure of speech, some people "redout", much like a drunk person blacking out, and this can cause a person to release their anger in horrifically violent ways.

When all of this takes place inside your body it can sometimes be a scary situation for you and others around you. If you have ever gotten to this uncontrollable point of anger in your life and it happens often then it is time to get help in the form of going to anger management classes. When you go to an anger management class you will be shown different ways of expressing your feelings of anger without reaching that boiling point of extreme danger.

One of the most natural ways of expressing your anger is through violence, threats, yelling and screaming, however, when you go to anger management classes you will learn the many different ways of how to express your anger in a positive way instead of always being on the defensive.

The very first thing you will learn in anger management class is learning to identify all the different things that set you off.
