In fact, the league may be the most competitive that it has EVER been, Folks, that is saying something! So how will things shake out in 2007? Let's gaze into the crystal ball:

PROJECTED ORDER OF FINISH:

SEC EAST

Florida - Yes, the Gators will once again be a force to reckon with despite the loss of Chris Leak and some key personnel on defense. Make no mistake about it the Gators will play a lot of quality football in 2007!

Tennessee - The Volunteers are a trendy pick to get to the SEC title game this upcoming football season. We see the Vols being improved in 2007, but something still seems to be amiss in Knoxville. Will finishing #2 in the SEC East be good enough to get Fulmer off the hot seat?

Georgia - UGA enters 2007 with a head of steam thanks to a gutsy victory over Virginia Tech in the Peach Bowl, but there are simply too many holes to fill, especially along the front seven on defense.

South Carolina - People keep waiting for that "special" type of year out of Spurrier and the Gamecocks. South Carolina may be the best "middle of the pack" program in the country, but again, SEC football is a meat-grinder and while the Gamecocks will be stout, this league slate will take its toll.

Kentucky - The Wildcats are a program that some analysts feel could make a little run in 2007. Don't confuse a victory over a helter-skelter Clemson program as a sign of the Wildcats ditching their "basketball school" label.

Vanderbilt - Commodore football has been a lot less of a punchline lately as it has been in years past, but again, simply too tough of a league to navigate with inferior talent.
