underwear she found " Another woman."

Chamberlain-Gordon may be charged with violating the use of state equipment. State Police have policies on the care and use of property distinguishing them as property of the department and that they are not to be utilized in anything not pertaining to department including off-duty work.

The tests were allegedly administered on the underwear of Charles Gordon Jr. in September upon suspecting that he had taken part in a sexual encounter with another woman. Chamberlain-Gordon testified in May to having performed the tests to be used as part of her testimony in their divorce hearing. She claims that the chemicals used to perform the testing were set to be thrown away as they were expired.

Chamberlain-Gordon is a respected forensic scientist who has received an award for her work with DNA recovery has been employed by the state since 1999. In addition to her award, Chamberlain-Gordon has also given expert testimony in more than 50 cases, including the case of Lisa Holland who was charged with the death of her 7 year old adopted son.

State Police are said to be conducting an internal investigation into the events which transpired during the Gordon divorce hearings. Chamberlain-Gordon's work has not been restricted during the investigation.

Hah! Kudos to her for catching her husband this way. Not that I'm promoting the use of company equipment for personal reasons... that would be like using the photocopy machine for personal use. ;-)

Well, I have to admit that she is a tad smarter than the husband. LOL. I mean, seriously, you are married to a very respected forensic scientist and you seriously think that you will get away with cheating on her? Seriously, though, I do agree that she was out of line and that she should not had used her work equipment to do this. Thanks for sharing this with us!

I think this was kind of a misuse of power but... maybe it'll serve as a warning to cheating husbands!

This is so unusual. Even though it proved the husband was cheating, she also stepped out of line too. Sophie

The point is she used her knowledge and experience to confront her cheating husband, the problem is she went out of the boundaries of her job duties to do it which maybe a violation, and may hurt her court case as it maybe refuted inadmissable.
