Stauf's coffee is one of many coffee shops in Columbus, Ohio that are locally owned and operated, but it is certainly the best and most long-standing. One of the reasons why Stauf's Coffee has been an institution in Columbus, Ohio for so many years is because of the simple quality of the coffee and the wide selection available. Anyone who visits their main location on Grandview Avenue is struck by the strong aroma that is present even before stepping in the store and the huge wooden barrels full of fresh-roasted beans in nearly every flavor imaginable cannot be resisted, especially for a coffee lover who knows his or her coffee and what it takes to produce the kind of quality available there.

Although Stauf's Coffee in Columbus, Ohio does tend to be rather pricey, this is not because the company is trying to make a fast buck-these people stop at nothing to get the very best beans available and goes to great lengths to bring them to Columbus, Ohio. Stauf's Coffee has the most amazing Jamaican blends anywhere and their flavored coffees are without compare. In fact, aside from the strong espresso and dark roasts that they are known for, they have a number of incredibly popular flavors. For instance, when I know I can't make it to Columbus, Ohio for a while and I need some Stauf's Coffee to get me through my week, I usually stock up on 2 flavors in particular, the Highlander Grogg, which is so perfectly balanced that one sip tastes like a breakfast blend while the next has a hint of caramel, and the next of cream. Aside from the Highlander Grogg at Columbus, Ohio's Stauf's Coffee, I always love the Love Potion #9 which tastes a lot like tapioca or vanilla pudding and has a smooth dark texture that is unlike any flavored coffee I've tried anywhere. You can usually expect to pay quite a bit per pound, but the cost is worth it. All of the individual coffees at Stauf's are priced differently and they really do have some breakfast coffees that are very reasonably priced, just a dollar or two more than the regular coffee available from the grocery store but far better in quality.
