Shia LaBeouf is Not into Dating Costars

People Magazine reported that young actor Shia LaBeouf isn't into the scene of dating his beautiful costars.

The twenty-one year old LaBeouf who's worked with beauties like Amy Smart and Megan Fox told the magazine Vanity Fair in it's August issue, "It's really easy to fall for someone on-set, but in the end you know, it's a representative and it's not really them."

So how does a male like LaBeouf meet potential girlfriends? He told Vanity Fair that he tends to meet females through his friends.

"There have been real innocent dates. "They haven't been, like, 'Come to my house and I'll make you some food and we'll caress and put on some D'Angelo.' I'm not that smooth."

Does that mean that LaBeouf doesn't date females that he has met on-set? The actor told Vanity Fair that he has yet to overcome his very first love interest whom was a producer's daughter named China Brezner. He met Brezner while filming The Greatest Game Ever Played.

LaBeouf reminisced on his past with Brezner by saying, "We were inseparable. She was my best friend and my love."

The two dated for three years before calling it quits in the spring. The reason for the split that as LaBeouf said, "My focus became so work-related that I couldn't devote any time to a relationship. It was unfair to her."

However, as with any first time love, LaBeouf says that it's "like rebuilding after a tornado."

The actor, who is currently filming the upcoming sequel to Indiana Jones isn't sitting at home piling up on the ice cream and sappy movies though. Instead he is staying focused on his career and has even skipped on the option of tradition of getting drunk on your twenty-first birthday which he celebrated on June 11.

"I won't have a sip until after Indy. People say, 'What are you doing for your 21st birthday, Shia?' And I'm like, 'I'm making an Indiana Jones movie.' What's better than that?"
