One of the first things you'll notice when you walk in the door of Casa Lu Al in Lima, Ohio is that the place is totally packed. It can be a Tuesday night at 4:30 or a Saturday afternoon-no matter what time or day it is, the place is always filled to the brim, mostly with people who've been going to Casa Lu Al in Lima, Ohio since the McCarthy era. The second thing you'll notice about Lima's Casa Lu Al are the two friendly Italian guys who are greeters, bartenders, hosts, and a number of other things all at once. These are the owners and they are always there and will always treat you like family, putting the chain Olive Garden to shame with its undeserved slogan "when you're here, you're family." All rumors of mafia ties aside, the restaurant is very warm and welcoming and if you can get over the thousand of local ads plastered to nearly everything in sight (the tables, placemats, entire surface area of the long, large wooden bar, etc.) then you'll be just fine. The third thing you'll notice is the noise level. It is almost always very loud in the Casa Lu Al in Lima, Ohio and with this in mind, despite the great food, it is not the ideal location for a date night unless you have nothing to talk about anyway.

The Casa Lu Al has, in your words, taken themselves into the new millennium and added a website www.casalualrestaurant.com. They built it themselves and did a fine job, so I'd ask you to praise their efforts with as little sarcasm as you can muster.
