Christianity Vs. True Christianity: A Problem with the Church?

A Research Paper on Issues and Truth of Christ

Christianity has a lot of problems, enemies and preconceived notions. This research paper has been written to express and point out what the true vision of what Christianity was supposed to be. The history of the Church has been if anything corrupt and violent. However, what most people
fail to realize is that the founder of The Roman Catholic Church was not Christ but Paul.

If you go through the centuries with the Great Schism and even the Reformations of the church you would noticed that all the church history has its root in Catholicism. Thus every Christian church whether it be Protestant, Catholic or any other Christian denomination has but one founding father and that is Paul. Christianity is supposed to be about what Christ has taught and not about Dogma's or "Rules" because; even Jesus broke the laws of the High Priest's.

Paul has made either accidentally or purposely misinterpreted Jesus' teachings, which has led to main problems for society since Roman Catholicism was created, Roman Catholicism is flawed because, of this, Christ message was integrated into Paul's teachings and it should have been the other way around.

II-A. Major Issues of The Church

There are major issues that the church has taken the wrong issues on with. Some issues are really groundbreaking and could affect society in dramatic ways if the church took a different stance on the issue. These issues are Homosexuality whether it is a sin or okay to be one. Income level whether we should help the poor or everyone should work hard to live. Bigotry, Racism and Religion would shatter the very core of every Christian church around the world today. Sexism is another issue in society and the reader would be surprised with what I found. Finally, there is the issue of slavery which is tied to law.

I'm sorry. I ran out of space. I had written quite a bit more and didn't realize that I had a limit. Don't have time right now to redo my comments maybe a later time.

Wow, what a pathetically weak and misinformed argument. If you are going to talk about the Bible and church history you had better get your facts straight (and your spelling) before you post your ignorance on the internet. I am not trying to sound ugly here, but good grief get your facts straight. I find that kind of ignorance extremely insulting. The Church of Rome had its beginning with Constantine when he attempted to merge religion and the state together. The Church of Rome became the state religion of Rome and was called the Roman Catholic (universal or one world) Church. Almost immediately they began their war machine to eliminate anyone who refused to join them. The original believers from the early church re-baptized those who left the state church and converted to Christianity and were therefore called Anabaptists or Re-baptisers. Eventually, they were simply called Baptists. Christ is the founder of the church as He had promised to build His church upon that rock of

I couldn't even finish this article because it is riddled with errors and verses taken out of context. Horrible and biased articel. One example, article claimed that Paul said only intereact with those who agree with you, i believe it's Corinthians where he talks about blend in with the culture around you so you don't offend anybody and are able to communicate with them better. Paul encouraged Christians to talk to everybody, not just a selected group. Obviously the writer is trying to force the Bible to fit his position.

The teachings of Christ was spread throughout Europe and Asia by the Jews who added the gospels to traditional Judaism. They were the original "Christians" and were under persecusion of the traditional Jews as well as members of other religions. Paul was one of the ones spreading the teachings. However, not everyone accepted this new form of Judaism. It was hundreds of years after Paul compiled the New Testament until Rome, under the rulership of Emperor Constantine, adopted "Christianity". "Christians" and "Christianity" were terms coined by Roman Emperors about the "followers of Christ". The various people of the Roman Empire were of different religions. Emperor Constantine, a worshiper of the sol Invictus, adopted Christianity as a political move to unite the empire. One empire, one religion. Paul should have been long dead by then. Christianity today as we know it has many ideology and traditions added to it from other religions. That is why a lot of practices are done in churches

I would encourage anyone reading this to actually look into the verses and not just take his word/opinion for it. Following simple logic I can see, just from looking at a few of these examples, that none are even close to contradictions. For instance the give to those who are hungry: not givng to those who choose not to work is a subsidiary 'clause' to the preaching of Christ to give to those who are hungry, and is not a contradiciton at all. Basically its saying that we are to give to those in need ~unless~ they are unwilling to work for themselves. How is that a contradicion? This is a usual example of taking something out of context by making the Assumption that one command is supposed to be given hyper-exclusivity to all circumstances. Christ never said 'ALLWAYS GIVE TO THE NEEDY in every single circumstance' for if he did it would be a contradiction. He said give and later on he ammended it to be more exact by giving us helpful advice not to give to those who can help themselves (

Jesus did not break the law, but rather the tradition of the elders...the traditions that strayed from God's original law. Also, Jesus is not contradicted in Titus 3:10. If we look at the context of the passage, we can see that it is talking about warning people about their wrongful ways and avoiding "foolish controversies" about the law. This is not to be confused with the Lord's call to forgive 70 times 7 (in other words...unlimited forgiveness).

........very good but why not just ditch this book and think for yourself. the bible is just full of contradictions and at the same time is quite nasty in parts, full of hate, death, war, rape, genocide....and of course there is no proof whatsoever that there is a god or any god for that matter.

I have to say this is a very well written article. This is the first article I've read in quite some time that examines the Bible from a position of analysis rather than simply blind faith. For years I had been getting yelled at by certain family members for thinking independantley and coming to the same conclusions you did in this article.
