Magic descends, and residents of Northern Connecticut and the Greater Hartford area wait with anticipation, for the final Harry Potter book.

Muggles and wizards alike will gather at the bookstores and libraries and other secret wizard locations in Northern Connecticut and the Greater Hartford to both celebrate and lament the final chapter in the story that is Harry Potter.

July 13, 2007: Snape Debate

The Harry Potter Bookclub engages in an enthralling debate about Professor Severus Snape. Are you ready for the drama?

July 20, 2007: Be Sorted at the Harry Potter Midnight Magic Party

Enter the book store and be sorted by the greeters, young wizards. Maybe you should perform a (safe and parent-approved) spell before you go to ensure you are entered into the house you really like. Also enjoy making your own frame, and taking photos with a big cardboard Harry Potter!
