That's really how it is. We feel sluggish and slow, we look sluggish and slow and there may be no end in sight.
Guys, we really let ourselves go, and who can blame us. With life throwing everything from relationships to work to car repairs in our way, it's hardly our fault at all. Well, maybe it is.
We allow everything we can think of to be an excuse, but it's time to stop. From this point forward we need to stop living like we're still fifteen. We need to make changes for ourselves. It's time to grow up and accept the responsibility of our lives, but to do that we really need to set a list of guidelines and regulations to follow to get things back in order. So enough with the preamble, it's simply time to set down some rules.
1. We Will Not Work Out For Beach Muscles - See, we all want to look good at the beach, but it should be a side effect, not a main goal of our workouts. We can't hold ourselves up to the standards of guys who have personal trainers and chefs, or guys who have the time to log in 3 hours a day in the gym. We have to understand that we may never look quite like that. We need to be exercises for a better quality of life, not a better quality of pecs. So let's a make a decision to focus on training for improved strength and energy. We'll make those are goals and allow the sleek and slender look to be an added incentive.
