Baker's Square is one of those sit-down "family oriented" establishments based on the Denny's formula, but a bit of a step up from Denny's in both quality and price (expect the bill to be about $1-$2 higher for each item, but the food doesn't come drowned in grease and looking like it was reheated in the microwave after sitting in a fridge for a few hours). Apparently it's some sort of a small chain, though this one in Rohnert Park is the only one I've ever seen anywhere.

This is a high-fat, high-cholesterol sort of place. A quick perusal of the menu will show that the only moderately healthy options are the soup of the day, some of the salads and a few chicken breast / turkey based entrees. Most everything else is either fried, smothered in cheese and bacon and grease, or both. I'm not complaining, that's my kind of food, I just want you to know what you're getting into ahead of time. The breakfast menu is focused around skillets, omelettes and crepes; for the rest of the day, aside from sandwiches and burgers, there's about twelve entrees ranging from various steaks to chipotle-honey BBQ chicken breast, chicken pot pie, pork chops, fried cod, shrimp and stir-fry.
