How to Draw Transformers in Photoshop

You and I both know that Transformers is the best movie to come out in years. Here I will show you how to impress your friends and revel in their glory by making your very own Transformers logo.

Lets start off: This tutorial would be nothing more then stone letters if you used ordinary font. Luckily the folks at nfta.net have made a transformers font you can download here for pc and for Mac. Downloading and unzipping the
font is easy but if you don't know how to install fonts then check out this convenient tutorial.

Step one: Create a new canvas using 420×250px. Fill it up with black background, write "Transformers" with the SF TransRobotics font you just downloaded, then centralize the text. Next right click on the text layer and left click rasterize layer.

Step Two: Highlight the bottom of "T" and "F" with the Marquee Tool, hold Alt and keep pressing Arrow down to increase the length of both these alphabets.

Step Three: Here we add the cool alien metal effect to the font. You need to right click the font layer and go to blending options. Now apply the following blending options. (For any missing fields in the following instructions, assume the default setting).a
