Wisconsin State Fair: Celebrates 156 Years of Fun!

The Grand Champion of Summer is the Wisconsin State Fair, celebrating 156 years of fun this year. The first Wisconsin State Fair was held in 1851. This year the fair runs from August 2 - 12. The fairgrounds, located in West Allis, just west of the City of Milwaukee. The entire family enjoys the fair! The fair features plenty of great food, agricultural exhibits, shopping in the bazaar, a midway and terrific entertainment. A day at the Wisconsin State Fir is a day packed with fun!

Fantastic attractions include the Book Bus, Budweiser Clydesdale's, Cousins Subs Amphitheater 7 Bazaar, Cousins Subs moo-la-Palooza Mooing contests, Dog Fair, Fiesta Coca Cola, Funjet Fun Stage, History Museum, Horticulture, Piggly Wiggly Pig Slide, Saz's Hospitality Village, Textile, Craft & Culinary, Timber Tina's World Champion Lumberjills, The Big Backyard, Umos - Building Better Futures, Urban Farming - Growing Power and U.S. cellular State Fair Store.

Agricultural exhibits, with livestock in the Poultry & Rabbit Palace, Swine barn and Sheep & Goat Barn, Championship livestock and judging of the livestock.
